Nicky Orr is an experienced communications manager, specialising in strategy, PR and content creation. Her career began at the Edinburgh festivals, and she's promoted various artforms, including theatre, dance, literature, exhibitions and community arts. Most recently, she's developed retail opportunities for sustainable design through Frugal Cool and promoted green arts projects. She mentors craftmakers and artists, and teaches PR for the Creative Industries Academy at Queen Margaret University. Nicky works part-time for 37; she returned to retail in 2010 and is now Floor Manager with Monsoon Accessorize three days in seven.
